Paul Natvig, M.D., has been named director of Student Health at the University of Iowa. Natvig, who has been serving in the role in an interim capacity since 2017, will officially begin his new role on June 1, 2020.

We gather each spring to recognize outstanding students, advisors, and organizations for their work and efforts over the past year. The Hawkeye Student Organization Leadership & Service Awards nominations and applications are available each year to the over 500 organizations on campus. A team of volunteers read and judge all nominations.

Mental health struggles are common among college students, but individuals are often reluctant to seek help. Now, leaders from some of the University of Iowa’s Fraternity and Sorority community are launching an initiative to de-stigmatize some of the most common issues faced by their members.
