The University of Iowa is exploring a potential external partnership for the day-to-day operations of the Iowa Hawk Shop and University Bookstore.
Free menstrual products now available at residence halls

The University of Iowa now offers free menstrual products in all residence halls, free of charge to all students, faculty, and staff. Associated Residence Halls (ARH) is sponsoring the effort and is planning, funding, and implementing it.
IMU recognizes staff for 2020 IMU Values Awards

Annually, the Iowa Memorial Union recognizes staff and students from the organization who embody one of the five IMU values throughout the year. The five values include: relationships, inclusion, ingenuity, performance and student success. Beginning in 2019, awards were presented to both staff and student employees. Our offices receive many calls from faculty, staff, and graduate students for resources to support and refer students who may have concerns. The Quick Guide for Helping Students, a collaboration between Student Care & Assistance, University Counseling Service, and University of Iowa Student Government, provides information, options, and ways to assist students who may experience challenging situations.
