Community Resources
24-Hour UI Support and Crisis Line - We're here for you any time, via chat, phone, or text. In partnership with CommUnity Crisis Services in Iowa City, the University of Iowa provides around-the-clock mental health crisis and support for all students.
Prelude Behavioral Services, a community-based, non-profit organization offering substance abuse and behavioral health services to Johnson and other Iowa counties
UIHC Chemical Dependency Program, University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics is dedicated to offering care and hope to all substance abusing patients; meeting the special needs of dual diagnosis patients; and providing resources to other clinical departments, the general university community, and the state of Iowa.
GuideLink Center, provides easier access to immediate, onsite assessment and stabilization—outside of a hospital setting—for those 18+ years of age who are experiencing a mental health or substance use crisis.
