The Office of the Dean of Students values and welcomes all students. My role -- and those I work with -- is to assist and support students in their success at Iowa. The Dean of Students team shapes the student experience and supports student success in a variety of ways including assisting with navigating a new environment, getting involved in activities and organizations, supporting social justice change, and determining options for addressing challenges. Encouraging and supporting responsible behaviors, healthy environments, and academic success is foundational for the Dean of Students and its units. I encourage you to take advantage of all that the University of Iowa has to offer academically and socially.
