The Women's Resource & Action Center (WRAC) celebrated five years of partnering with Girls Rock! Iowa City this summer. Girls Rock! Iowa City is a community organization dedicated to fostering girls’ creative expression and self-esteem through musical expression.

WRAC staff and volunteers are part of the organization that makes the one-week day camp happen. About 40 girls attended the camp this summer and performed their original songs at a showcase at the Blue Moose at the end of the week.
