Hello Hawkeyes!

One of the expectations of the Iowa Challenge is to ENGAGE. Engage in campus life and engage in the community in which you live. We know engagement looks very differently right now, but we still encourage students to remain involved. One way to become engaged this fall is to participate in local and state elections.

It is easy to register and vote in Iowa. Although for this year, we strongly encourage you register by mailing a voter registration form to the county auditor's office. Forms are available at the Johnson County Auditor's office in the County Administration Building, 913 S. Dubuque St., Iowa City (Iowa City is located in Johnson County). Voter registration forms are also available on-line at the following links:

An absentee or mail-in ballot request for Johnson County is available online at the following link:

Information about local election rules (including registration deadlines) can be found at the following links:

Whether you choose to vote in elections in your hometown or here in the Iowa City area, we encourage you to ENGAGE and exercise your right to vote!
