What is your favorite memory from the University of Iowa?
The people on Homecoming Court truly care about bettering their campus around them and care deeply for other students. I think it is a great honor to be recognized for service to the University and its students. I also can’t wait to say go hawks at any and every time that I am able to.
If you had a superpower for one day, what would it be?
The ability to teleport in an instant!
Why do you want to be a part of Homecoming Royalty?
I have always loved the University of Iowa and it has allowed me to grow and learn in ways I never thought possible.
What would like to see changed in the world during your lifetime?
In my lifetime, I want to see action on climate justice taken immediately. We have no time to waste, and climate change is an imminent threat.
If you had the chance to redo one year on campus, which year would it be, and what would you do differently?
I wouldn’t go back to any years! Each of my years has shaped me in a new and special way. My only regret is selling my student tickets freshman and sophomore year when we ended up storming the field.
What is a fun fact that no one knows about you?
I once won $2,500 in a karaoke contest.
