Food, faster. University Dining launches Tapingo app

Stop waiting in line and let the food come to you. The Tapingo apps aims to do just that. In December of 2017, University Dining launched the app in hopes of better serving students and providing students with fast food to keep up with their busy lives.

“Tapingo is a mobile app that allows you to order food and drinks for pickup on the go,” says Robert James, Retail Operations assistant director. “Students can use Flex Meals, Hawkeye Cash, UI Charge, and bank cards. Tapingo tells you when your food is ready - so you can grab it and go.”

Tapingo can be downloaded via smartphone on the Apple iTunes or Google Play store. To date, the app has had 530 downloads.
