Study Spaces

The Iowa Memorial Union is now open 24/7 until December 19th for all your study space needs. Likewise, the Main Library is open 24 hours a day starting Monday, December 9th for finals week! Not your cup of tea? Several other buildings are extending their hours for late night studying including:

  • Blanks Honor Center
  • Pomerantz Center

Check for postings or ask the faculty for the extended hours schedules.

Staying Healthy: sleep, eat, exercise, repeat

Remember, you’re not your best without proper sleep, nutritional food, and exercise to keep your mind and body in shape. Try hitting up the Campus Recreation and Wellness Center for a quick work out (or a smoothie from the Power Cafe, we won’t tell)! Check out their hours. Remember the IMU is offering some sweet snacks too. On top of it all, don’t forget a nap can go a long way.

Preparing for winter break: what to know

At the end of it all, be proud of your hard work. If you’re leaving campus for the holidays, make sure you unplug everything to save on electricity and don’t forget the necessities like your phone charger! Looking to stay for the break? If you haven’t already, make sure you fill out the application.
