Class of 2014 is so great, there’s a whole week dedicated to us!

Celebration is in store! We are graduating! Let the fun begin! Thanks to the Campus Activities Board, S.T.A.T., the UI Alumni Association, and the UI Lecture Committee, an entire week is dedicated to us. Seniors, enjoy one of your last weeks on the UI campus with these exciting events to help commemorate your time here!

Note: You can purchase tickets for individual events, or a package for all of the events at the HUB. Individual prices vary. The ticket package for all events is $25.

Last Meal at Hillcrest & Trivia Night

Sunday April 27th, 6-8 pm, Hillcrest Dining Hall

Join your fellow seniors for one last meal at your favorite dining hall on campus, Hillcrest. Don’t forget your soft-serve ice cream! After dinner, take part in a trivia challenge about Iowa. An individual ticket for this event is available for $7 at the HUB.

Class Gift Presentation

Present a gift from the Class of 2014 to the UI to show our love for them and for all they have done for us! There will be free food and giveaways to celebrate the occasion. No ticket is required for this event.

Last Lecture with TedTalk speaker, Meg Jay

The lecture is open to all students for free, but there will be a wine and cheese reception to follow, just for seniors. Meg Jay will be performing an empowering lecture on “Defining Your Twenties” at the downtown hotelVetro. Individual tickets for the reception are available for $7 at the HUB.

Spring Wings S.T.A.T. Fundraiser

Senior S.T.A.T. members are invited to a lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings as a fundraiser for S.T.A.T.

Riverside Casino Trip

Thursday May 1st, 8 pm-12 am, IMU to casino and back

What’s Senior Week without some fun? Seniors who are 21+ can take a trip to the Riverside Casino for some entertainment and a night out! Buses will shuttle students at 8 pm from Madison Street at the IMU to the casino. They will return to campus at midnight. Individual tickets for this event can be purchased at the HUB for $13.

Party in the Park

Friday May 2nd, 7-10 pm, Gibson Square

Spend your Friday night at the big Party in the Park! DJ, ice cream truck, inflatables and games will be provided. We hear a water balloon toss is in store? As always, food will be there too so you can snack away. The event takes place at Gibson Square, which is located between the Main Library and the CRWC. You will need a ticket for this event, which can be purchased at the HUB for $3.

S.T.A.T. Dodge Ball Tournament

Sunday May 4th, 10 am-6 pm, Kinnick

Wrench

Register your team of six for the third annual dodgeball tournament! The games will take place in Kinnick Stadium. You’ll be able to say, “I played ball in Kinnick!” after this event. The team captains must be S.T.A.T. members. The cost is $60 per team.
