As a component of the Division of Student Life’s 2021-2026 Strategic Plan, the Graduate and Professional Student Needs Assessment work group has created an assessment tool for all UI graduate and professional students. We want to know what programs, services, and physical spaces on campus help students meet their basic needs, foster their sense of belonging and engagement on campus, and support their leadership development. Their voices are essential to this process.

All graduate and professional students will be receiving an email from the Division of Student Life with a personal survey link. The survey will be available from until Sunday, November 7.

All students who participate will be entered into a drawing for prizes including a MacBook, $10 gift cards to Chipotle & Bruegger’s, Hawkeye gear and free parking passes!

At the end of the survey, there will be an opportunity to sign up for a listening session which will take place in November 2021.

All of the data collected from both the survey and the listening sessions will be used to identify the greatest needs and prioritize changes and/or expansions to the programs and services currently being offered within the Division of Student Life.

Want to help spread the word about the survey? The work group has created a shared drive of marketing materials, including social media, digital signage, PowerPoint slides, and flyers.
