Student Success

Being a successful student is an engaging and multi-faceted task. At the University of Iowa, we ask our students to excel in and out of the classroom by fulfilling the Iowa Challenge. Through leadership programs, student engagement, and experiential learning, we encourage students to stretch their comfort zones and discover new friends, interests, passions, and talents. In the Division, we ensure that every Hawkeye has access to the tools and connections they need to make their University experience unique and complete.

PICK ONE!

Studies show that involved students have higher success rates. First-year students at The University of Iowa are asked to PICK ONE! outside organization or activity to engage in while at Iowa. The program creates a connected and complete university experience for students by encouraging them to meet new friends, discover new interests, learn valuable skills, and make a difference on campus.
